....walking,shopping,visiting...and eating......and watching a movie...
a great saturday....more and deeper thots tomorrow...
...for some reason,maybe the wonderful weather...this was a wonderful day...
I've been thinking about some great 'older' movies that I have seen over the years and found a website of our local 'arts theatre' which lists every movie shown since it opened its' doors twenty years ago......it opened with My Dinner With Andre(which I saw there yes lo that long ago) ...a favorite of mine!!....anyway,I am scanning to find this Japanese move that I saw...with maybe the word 'blossom' in it...and I see...Mishimi:A Life in Four Chapters....and I wonder if by some strange twist of 'fate'.....this IS the very unusual movie that I saw and I just don't remember it 'as being about Mishimi'......it was quite impressionistic.....and from what I have read about this movie--it is that....Since a friend of mine recently was reading Mishima I have read a little about his life..and am very interested.....I don't recall the 'movie poster' appearing as the vhs movie box 'shows it'...but perhaps....it was this very movie....if so?? how jungian,how odd,how synchroniistic-- haha.........I almost hope it 'was'/'is'........
.....the big black out!!!watched a lot of the news today..and prayed for new york,the east,and canada....what an amazing happening.....the ppl of new york caught in the subway,tall buildings,elevators must have felt 'deja vu' 9/11....oh so much emotion...it was awesome to see the thousands of ppl walking home...
I'm very glad to have the light on,the fan running,my computer running,the hot water....once we had three days in the winter without power....it was amazingly dreary!!!
Nice to talk to two of my best friends today.....both have been very ill,and one still is ....I feel like I live in a different word from them in many ways...and yet,with what I would call...my own 'life in the very slow lane'...I live a lot differently than many 'normal americans....but then again....what is normal.....
Personally, I like the slow lane,but if you can go fast,God bless you...
and God bless those who lie on sick beds,in pain,suffering into and through the night...
Amazing to me ...my cat recovered!!! We fed him half an antibiotic in some tuna and after that he seemed to be okay....he had a good night and seemed amazingly normal today! Every time he has been sick like this,he has been really sick,so this is really a great day!!!!
....oh oh...life comes to a halt when your sweet little pet becomes sick....my 'little guy' gets a condition known as feline fever..a high fever in cats for no known reason....usually he has to go to the vet,stay in hospital overnight and take antibiotics...I missed taking him by five minutes so hope he can 'hang on' through the long night and I can walk him down in the morning...fortunately the vet is just a few blocks away....once a cat gets into a pattern of getting this, the vet said you can almost always count on it...and should just 'budget it in'...
anyway.....besides so many heavy duty prayer requests,my cat is in my prayers tonight....
the Pastor wrote a nice poem this week...part one was on the back of the bulletin today.....they said if you can't wait for parts two and three you can email his secretary and get the whole poem.....isn't that amazing....almost like 'time travel'...
